The 100% Natural Pet First Aid Spray

What is Acceleryn?

Acceleryn is a 100% natural product intended for the management of skin abrasions, lacerations and minor irritations from friction, impact and other sources. Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) and H2O are the main ingredients, both of which are naturally produced by your pet to fight and kill bacteria that cause infection and disease.

Does Acceleryn have any federal approvals or accreditations?

Acceleryn has been listed and approved by several Canadian Government agencies and is the only pet first aid spray to have a Low-Risk-Veterinary Health Product approval number. This is the highest level of approval the federal government can issue for animal products. These products must meet a very specific safety criteria before being considered. Acceleryn is intended for topical use with Cats, Dogs and Horses.

How is Acceleryn unique from other animal First Aid Sprays?

Acceleryn is unique in that all of the ingredients found within are naturally produced by your pet to fight and kill bacteria that cause infection and disease. This means Acceleryn is safe for use on your kitten, puppy or colt regardless of age or condition.  Acceleryn is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-staining, and safe to use on the nose and mouth, as well as around the eyes. Acceleryn does not contain steroids, alcohol or antibiotics and is 100% biodegradable. Acceleryn is manufactured within an appropriate physiological pH range (NUMBERS).  It can be easily applied with no mixing or dilution required and does not require rinsing after use. Additionally, Acceleryn contains no ingredients that would result in a positive blood or urine analytical test for non-permitted substances in race or show animals (if ingested or licked). Since there are no banned substances and no steroids or antibiotics, Acceleryn tests free for competitive animals.

Is Acceleryn a drug or medication?

Acceleryn is an all-natural product, the active ingredient being HOCL. This is the same substance produced by your pet's own natural defence process, to fight and kill bacteria that cause infection and disease.

Does Acceleryn contain antibiotics?

Acceleryn does not contain antibiotics. The repeated and extended use of Acceleryn on the wound bed has no adverse consequences and will never promote resistance. Any regulatory limitations for use of antibiotics do not apply to Acceleryn since it contains none.

 

Is Acceleryn a bleach product and why is it safe to use?

Bleach is corrosive, toxic, causes chemical burns, and generates fumes that are not safe for use on the intended applications of Acceleryn. Stabilized bleach has a pH of >11. Acceleryn however, is safe and non-toxic. Acceleryn is manufactured within the physiologically acceptable range of (NUMBERS). Acceleryn will never harm healthy tissue while it eliminates bacteria from the affected wound site. Acceleryn has a shelf life of a minimum of 14 months from the date of manufacturing if stored properly.

Is Acceleryn safe for the ears, eyes, nose, and mouth?

Acceleryn is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-staining, and safe to use on the nose, mouth, around the eyes, and the outer/middle ear. We do not recommend the use of the Acceleryn directly in the eye or inner ear.

Can you use Acceleryn after the expiration date?

Acceleryn is only intended to be used before the marked expiration date. If stored properly, Acceleryn will maintain its effectiveness until the expiration date, where its effectiveness will decrease.

Can Acceleryn be used with another products or medicines?

Acceleryn is intended to be used on its own, as per label indications. However, Acceleryn has no known contradictions or negative drug interactions. 

Does Acceleryn have any side effects?

Acceleryn has no known side effects and has been helping animals in Central Alberta for over ten years.

Where is Acceleryn made?

Acceleryn is a 100% Canadian product. It was originally produced and bottled in Central Alberta and now has a facility in Southern Ontario.
